I’m currently testing out Zooomr as a possible alternative to Flickr and I like most of what I see thus far. Except the speed. They seem to be using a shared C=64 hosting service or something of similar slowness. Perhaps they should tend to the servers before trying to bump up the number of users.

At least it isn’t as slow as second life :-)
