Another example of why there should be grammar checkers in IDEs.
Grrrrr.
Too clueless to be a troll…
Tuesday, August 19th, 2008There is an article about the modern day IBM mainframe.
Go read it, it’s short. I’ll wait.
Now for the fun bit.
The following is in one of the comments on that article.

So what do I need to know? As a VB, VB.Net developer mainframes seem shrouded in mystery. Is it possible to write web applications on them? Can I run multiple application sessions with a virtualized windows XP? How are they in a Java environment. Is there a ZDNet column on the subject?Beyond using warehouse/reporting applications like SAP and COGNOS I have no idea where to start. It would be nice if there were some books for learning the basics in 21 days, etc. This is the information that we need and it seems in very short supply.
Stupendous.
Is this tongue-in-cheek or just a mind boggling clueless person who thinks “Mainframes in 21 days” books are even remotely possible to write?
Did they think that there might not even be a market big enough for it to be economically feasible to publish such a book?
Wow, just plain wow. I am impressed with either their stupendous cluelessness or uber troll-er-ific-ness.

Elbow Falls, by Smug Bastard Photography
A short drive west of the city, but be sure to get there early in the morning (before 9 or 10) as it is otherwise overrun by hordes of blue haired old ladies with walkers and canes galore.
