Full Body Exoskeleton

Monday, March 26th, 2007

Hmm, keep your chin down. I could see some shrapnel hitting high up on the torso then ricocheting up into your throat, jaw, etc.

Is it just me or is the inventor/presenter here a wee little ADD or jacked up on caffeine or something a bit harder?

separation anxiety

separation anxiety, originally uploaded by prone_to_wander.

Interesting propaganda posted on local (Calgary) streets by the Nova Scotia Government.

Perhaps they have the right idea. If enough eastern bums and creeps go back home, the economy will cool off enough here that things will start to get sane again.

Just kidding about the bums and creeps. History does seem to be repeating itself though, doesn’t it? With the exception that perhaps the economy is doing better down east this time. At least, that’s what the Nova Scotia government is trying to tell it’s far flung ex citizens.

Update: CBC has an article about this. I can’t believe I scooped the CBC, and only by the luck of someone seeing the posters, taking a picture of them, posting to Flickr, adding it to the Calgary group in Flickr, me wandering by said group in Flickr and deciding to briefly blog about it.

Isn’t old-guard news media wonderfully on top of things, being only a day late (and a dollar short?) :-} OK, I will give something to the CBC — they got the interview with the Mayor. Woooooo, Aaaahhhhh, who’d have guessed what he said too? Was a it a surprise? No. Move along. Nothing to see here.

Americans are not stupid, eh?

Maybe not stupid, but ignorant. Of course we don’t know how many people they had to film before they got these ‘winners’ in this compilation.
